How CWL Bonus Medals Work

In Clash of Clans Clan War Leagues (CWL), clans receive a set number of bonus medal packages to distribute after round 7. Total bonus packages equal your league tier's base allotment (1 in Bronze, up to 6 in Legend) plus +1 extra package for every war won. The ClashOS Bonus Tracker scores each member on stars, destruction, Town Hall difficulty, mirror execution, and attendance to produce a transparent, defensible reward list.

01 · Strategic Hits

Attacking Up

Hitting higher Town Hall opponents is rewarded proportionately. A 2-star against TH17 beats an easy 3-star dip on TH14.

+4.0 PTS / TH GAP
02 · Base Discipline

Mirror Hits

Rewards members who hit their assigned war number (#4 vs #4) instead of cherry-picking easier lower bases.

+2.0 PTS / MIRROR
03 · Attendance

No-Shows

Missed attacks trigger severe score penalties, and zero-attack rosters are automatically disqualified from bonus medals.

CWL Bonus FAQ for Clan Leaders

How are bonus medal recipients scored?

The engine awards points for stars, destruction percentage, attacking up against higher Town Halls, mirror discipline, and early scouting attacks. Points are deducted for missed attacks, and the highest-scoring members fill your clan's exact bonus slots.

Your clan gets base bonus slots based on your league tier (1 in Bronze, up to 6 in Legend), plus one additional slot for every war win in the season. See the League Allotment Reference above. For example, Master II (3 base) with 5 war wins gives 3 + 5 = 8 total bonus packages.

Deterministic tie-breakers evaluate fewest missed attacks, higher star count, higher destruction, and Town Hall difficulty. If two players remain identical on every signal at the cutoff boundary, the slot is flagged as Contested so clan leaders can make the final call.

Many clans rotate bonuses to keep morale high and prevent the same top performers from claiming every month. Rotation works well in casual clans, but competitive clans typically reward raw performance each season. A hybrid approach — performance-first with a tie-break favoring members who haven't received a recent bonus — balances both. The scoring engine here focuses on per-season merit; rotation policy is a leadership call layered on top.

Each missed attack deducts 12 points from the member's total score — a penalty steep enough that a single no-show almost always drops a player below active participants. Members who used zero attacks across all 7 rounds are fully disqualified and cannot receive a bonus package, regardless of other performance metrics.
